Frenum — The Harness That Ends the Conversation
A gag is a promise of silence. Frenum is the guarantee.
Every gag has the same weakness: it can move. The jaw works at it, the tongue pushes, a single strap slips a few millimeters — and control quietly leaks away. Frenum closes that gap. Named after the Latin word for the bridle, it does what a bridle has always done: it takes hold of the head — and of everything the head still wanted to say.
Architecture, not a strap.
Frenum wraps the skull in a complete load-bearing frame. A sculpted leather panel cups the chin and seals over the mouth, pressing the gag home from the outside. The under-jaw strap keeps the mouth from working itself open. The crown strap locks the vertical axis, so nothing rides up or slips down. And at the nape, a wide leather plate with a central roller buckle anchors the entire system, spreading tension evenly across the back of the head — firm enough to feel inescapable, comfortable enough to stay on for hours. Struggling doesn't loosen Frenum. It only proves the point.
Built around Tacita and Eirene. Open to everything.
Frenum was engineered as the missing half of our anatomical gags: Tacita and Eirene are shaped to fill the mouth perfectly — Frenum makes sure they stay exactly where they belong, through the longest and loudest scenes. But it isn't picky. No mounts, no adapters: the sculpted front panel simply presses whatever fills the mouth firmly into place. Globus, Orbitus, Hesychia, any classic ball gag — whatever it is, Frenum keeps it there.
Seven rings. Infinite geometry.
Seven D-rings sit around the harness like compass points, turning the head itself into an anchor. A leash at the crown for posture control. Side rings tethered to a cross, a headboard, a wall. Downward fixation, backward fixation, complete immobilization. Where the head goes — and whether it goes anywhere at all — becomes your decision alone.
Worn empty, it still speaks.
Take the gag out, and Frenum stands on its own: a muzzle-silhouette statement piece in sculpted full-grain leather and cold steel. Severe. Architectural. Unmistakable.
